Rampage ready to scramble for twin causes

Fore! will be a frequently heard word on Saturday, as the Prince Rupert Rampage play host to their 4th Annual Charity Golf Scramble at the Prince Rupert Golf Club.

The tournament has become a summer time tradition for many both residents and visitors, providing the Rampage, the city's CIHL team to give back to community.

With tee times between 9 AM and 2 PM, the Rampage are hoping for a large turnout in support of two charity causes this year, funds raised from the Saturday scramble will be directed towards the Prince Rupert Wildlife Shelter and the Kyle J. Flaten memorial Fund.

Included in the day's events are the eighteen holes of golf (for teams of four or five players) as well as a dinner at night's end, with the chance for participants to win a variety of prizes.

Entry fee for the Saturday scramble is 70 dollars per person.

And for those that don't golf, there are tickets available for the dinner portion of the day's activities, available from Rupert Cleaners.

For updates on the Scramble, you can follow the latest information from the twitter feed of the Rampage, or from their Facebook page.
