Former Rupertite Sarah Robin and UNBC Women's basketball look to gain .500 mark tonight

The Women's Basketball program at UNBC is looking to make up some ground in the CIS West this weekend, with the second of two games of a weekend CIS series set to go this evening against the University of Regina.

Last night the Timberwolves dropped a seven point decision to the Brandon Bobcats, a loss that left the UNBC squad with a 3 and 4 record so far in the 2013 campaign. Leaving them currently  tied for 4th place in the Pacific division with a 3 and 4 record.

Prince Rupert's Sarah Robin collected 6 points on the night, with 32 minutes of play  in the losing cause for the T-Wolves. Robin is a fourth year player with UNBC basketball program.

The statistical review provided by the CIS has her point totals this season so far at 74 points, with total playing time of 227 minutes

The chance to move back to .500 comes at the UNBC Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre tonight when the T-Wolves take on the Cougars at 6 PM.

Local residents that may wish to keep up to speed on the former Rupertite and her squad can watch tonights game live on CanadaWest TV.

The Men's T Wolves play the Regina Cougars later this evening a game that is also available for streaming.

Update: UNBC dropped the second game of the two game weekend schedule, as Regina takes a 93 to 68 victory back to Saskatchewan with them. On the night Prince Rupert's Sarah Robin had 9 points with 26 minutes of play. The loss leaves UNBC with a record of 3 wins, 5 losses on the year so far.
