BC Liquor Stores launch 2014 Dry Grad campaign

The next time you stop in at the BC Liquor Branch Store on 2nd Avenue West you will have a chance to help offer up some support for this years Dry Grad Celebrations.

Starting this week, customers of the province's BC Liquor Branch Stores will be able to help provide funding for Dry Grad celebrations in their community.

Customers can contribute one dollar or more towards the campaign, as they wrap up their shopping at the BC Liquor Branch Stores. The fundraising campaign, which has been a fixture at BC Liquor stores for over a decade continues through the month of March, wrapping up on March 31st.

Over those then years or so, contributions from customers and staff have raised over 4.9 million dollars for the 56 school districts in the province that take part in the fundraising campaign.

Last year, customers and staff of BC Liquor Stores provided more than 459,000 dollars to help graduating students celebrate a Dry Grad at community events.


In Prince Rupert, 2,903 dollars was raised for the Graduating class of 2013.
