Ice House Gallery to celebrate 10th Anniversary on Friday

The Ice House Gallery will celebrate 10 years on the Prince Rupert Arts scene Friday, as the Atlin Terminal Gallery presents the opening of its "North Coast" exhibit, kicking off the month long celebration of North Coast art.

The exhibit which launches the celebration, will feature submissions of art in a variety of mediums, destined to be on display at the Ice House Gallery from Friday, until June 30th.

The Anniversary celebration starts at 7 PM on Friday, with refreshments and appetizers to be served during the community event. There is no admission to the Gallery event.

Those that find something to their liking can make purchases of the art work during the course of the exhibition.

The Ice House issued its call for submissions earlier this year, putting in motion the creative process for many of the region's talented artistic collective.

Friday marks the first opportunity to see what the artists of the Ice House have come up with for the Anniversary.

You can learn more about the development of the Ice House Gallery here and meet some of their artistic community from this item from the Gallery website.
