Minor Soccer to hold Annual General Meeting Thursday

For most on the North Coast, soccer season comes in April, but without the planning of November and the work that is required through the winter, taking to the pitches across the city would be a fairly tough challenge.

With that in mind, the Prince Rupert Youth Soccer Association will be holding it's Annual General Meeting on Thursday evening starting at 7:30 in the Raven Room of the Civic Centre.

As is always the case with volunteer organizations, the PRYSA is looking for new volunteers to help keep things running and to make the necessary preparations for the 2015 season to come.

As well, they are welcoming those in the community with new ideas for the sport to step up and lend a hand and help shape the season for the year ahead.

As an incentive to help reward those that volunteer from year to year, or to encourage newcomers to join in, the chance to learn more about how you could win a 2015 Soccer season registration will be available at Thursday's meeting.
