Local Realtors showing some early Christmas spirit

Prince Rupert's real estate agents are getting into the Christmas spirit in a number of ways, with the Salvation Army benefiting from some of their actions this season.

Royal Lepage is accepting donations of non-perishable food items and toys, with all that is collected to be turned over to the Salvation Army.

To help get Rupertites in the giving spirit, the Realtor's located in the Rupert Square will be offering up a Gift Certificate package worth 315 dollars, to those who make a donation at their office.

Those that drop by and make a donation will gain one entry into that Holiday draw.

Over at Re/MAX Coast Mountains, a 1,000 dollar donation was recently presented to the Salvation Army to help with their efforts this holiday season.

As well, as an early Christmas present to the community Mike Mores and Jeff Clarke through RE/MAX Coast Mountains are sponsoring a Free Public Swim this Saturday at the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre.

The event starts at 1:30 and continues until 3:30 PM
