It took a few weeks for the chemistry to gel, but over the last weekend of November, the UNBC Women's Timberwolves finally put a game into the win column in the Explorer Division of the Canada West standings.

With the November 28th opening match against the University of British Columbia Okanagan going the way of the visitors (recap) (box score), the 29th provided a chance for the team to regroup and wrap up 2014 with something to build on for the year ahead.

Prince Rupert's Sarah Robin, the captain of the Timberwolves had a strong effort in the win in front of boisterous crowd at the Northern Sports Centre.

Following up on her twenty point night of Friday, Robin once again took charge on the court, pacing the young Timberwolve team through the November 29th rematch.

In the final game of the two game series with the Heat, the fifth year forward scored sixteen points, six rebounds and five assists in Saturday night's match up with the UBC Heat.

The captain was strong on defence on the night as well, helping her squad hold off a strong UBCO counter attack late in the fourth quarter, securing the 76-70 victory for the Wolves and sending them off into the holiday break on a winning note.

The Timberwolves will approach January with a 1-7 record as the Christmas season arrives.
