Prince Rupert Rampage hosting "Skate with the Rampage" event for Salvation Army this Sunday

They may have the weekend off from the battles of the CIHL, but for members of the Prince Rupert Rampage Sunday is Skate Day at the Jim and the public is invited to join the team for their annual Skate with the Rampage event.

Your chance to show your moves to Derek Baker at the blue line, or race Kory Movald to the goal arrives on Sunday and for a donation to the Salvation Army you can take to the ice from 3 to 4:30.

In years past, North Coast residents have been very generous to the food bank campaign as part of the event, an afternoon which attracts a good crowd each time, with much fun and photographs to go with it through the day.

Free Skate Rentals are available for those who don't have their own blades, as well you will have the chance to pick up some autographs from your favourite Rampage players and enjoy some refreshments as part of the afternoon of fun.

Snapshots and details on the day will no doubt be posted to the Rampage Facebook page  or Twitter feed, once Sunday's skate has come to an end.
