Rotary Club making ready for Christmas Tree Sale

The annual ritual of the Christmas season of the family seeking out a Christmas tree is almost upon us, some take to the woods to harvest their own, while for others, stopping by the Rotary Tree Lot is the way to solve the yearly task.

This year, Rupertites looking for the Rotary option will be heading to a new location, as the Rotary Club has shifted to the McBride Street Tennis Courts, centrally located in the city at 6th Avenue East and McBride Avenue.

From that new location, the Prince Rupert chapter of Rotary International will open the gates to tree searching Rupertites on Saturday December 6th.

From that day until the 20th, or while stocks last (whichever comes first) residents of the North Coast can wander through the lot and select the tree that best meets their expectations.

Rotary Christmas Tree Sale Hours run as follows:

Monday to Friday

4:30 to 6:30 PM

Saturday

Noon to 6 PM

Sunday 2 PM to 5 PM

Money raised from the sale of Christmas Trees through the Rotary Club goes towards the variety of programs that Rotary runs in the Prince Rupert area.
