UNBC Timberwolves set to refocus for second half of CIS season

The UNBC Women's Timberwolves ended 2014 on a winning note, a welcome shift of fortunes from most of the first part of their 2014-15 season.

With their November 29th win, the T Wolves delivered something to build on as they look ahead to making their push towards a playoff berth later in the Spring.

To get there however, will require a string of victories to overcome their poor start to the year, which has left the squad hosting a 1 and 7 record in the Explorer Division heading into the break over the holidays.

The first step for that push comes this weekend in Edmonton, when the T- Wolves led by team captain Sarah Robin of Prince Rupert take on Grant McEwan.

UNBC has two games in Edmonton with the first set for 6 PM this evening, while the second half of the weekend doubleheader goes Saturday evening at 5 PM.

Prince Rupert residents who might want to look in at the progress of Ms. Robin and her team mates can follow the T-Wolves action through the Canada West video streaming channel.
