BC Lions fill the House at Prince Rupert Middle School

Three members of the BC Lions travelled to the North Coast on Tuesday, providing for a bit of fun and few messages for students at Prince Rupert Middle School.

The Lions were here as part of their popular Lions in the House program, which takes members of the CFL team across the province, offering up a mixture of athletic events as well as providing a focus for the students on the power of choice and to seek ways to be the best that students can be.

The program calls on the experiences of those Lions that are participating, to help shape potential paths for significant life choices.

Representing the Lions on their Northbound journey were Emmanuel Arcenaux, Courtney Taylor and Solomon Elimimian, who proved to be popular ambassadors for the Lions and the program.

In addition to the stop in Prince Rupert, the Lions also headed up Tuck Inlet flying into Lax Kw'alaams for a session.

Prince Rupert Mayor Lee Brain provided a few photos of the Lions journey to PRMS on his facebook page, highlighting the day that Prince Rupert's youth spent with the CFL squad.

The Lions in the House project is presented by CN Rail and supported by Pacific NorthWest LNG and and the Industry Training Authority.
