Lester Centre to host a special evening of music as part of ANBT festivities tonight

Those looking for a break from the non stop action on the court at the Russell Gamble Gymnasium might want to head across Wantage road this evening for a musical interlude, with the arrival of the ANBT providing the opportunity to take in the Majagaleehl Nisga'a Concert.

The show which features the sounds of the Nisga'a United Marching and Concert band is planned to run from 6 to 8 PM this evening, with the doors to the Lester Centre opening up at 5 PM

Admission is by donation, with the contributions from the evening going towards assistance with the travel costs for the Majagaleehl Nisga'a.

The band travels far and wide through the year, a fixture at many Northwest events, such as Seafest and other festivals of note.

The concert is just one of the many events that make up part of the week long run of  festivities of the All Native Basketball tournament.

You can follow up on some of our background pieces on the tournament here, while our anchor page also features interest on the tournament action, it  can be found here.
