Road Dust Advisory remains in effect for Terrace area

The bright and sunny weather of the last two weeks or so is having an impact further inland, as conditions related to high concentrations of coarse particulates in the Terrace area, caused by road traffic stirring up road traction materials

Northern Health and the Ministry of Environment have combined to issue a Road Dust Advisory for the Terrace area. Highlighting the extreme nature of the situation at this time and making note of some of the health conditions that could arise from the current situation.

The situation is expected to persist until a significant shift in weather patterns brings enough precipitation to reduce the impact of the particulates in the affected areas.
