British Columbia Magazine featured a Prince Rupert Blitz over the weekend

This past weekend saw British Columbia Magazine celebrate many of the North Coast's tourism offerings, taking to twitter in a blitz of tweets to highlight a recent article in the Magazine about Prince Rupert and the North Coast.

The review came as part of what the magazine is calling it's Hometown Series, providing a snapshot  look at the history and culture of the area, as well as highlighting a number of the communities attractions.

Included on that list: the Museum of Northern British Columbia, the North Pacific Cannery Historical Site, the Sunken Gardens, Great Bear Rainforest, as well as nod towards the many hiking options in the region, the Thursday Market at the Court House lawn and of course the city's Seafest Celebrations.

The synopsis of our offerings was put together by Myriah Saulnier, who was assisted through contributions from Lauren Movold and Hannah Davis.

The comments section is well worth a read, as it features a number of former residents and those that have visited the region before and plan to come back, all with a number of strong memories of their time on the North Coast.

You can look over how the region is being showcased from this link to the article.
