School District 52 inviting parents to Ready, Set, Learn sessions at local schools

Starting Friday School District 52 is providing information sessions on the provincial program Ready, Set, Learn.  The Provincial program which offers up information on how to support a young child's early learning and development.

Designed to develop positive connections between families and the school system as well as local community agencies.

Families and their three year olds can attend the eosins to take part in the play based activities, while finding out more information about early learning programs.

This Friday's session runs from 10:30-12 Noon at Lax Kxeen in the Strongstart room

That will be followed by sessions at the following Prince Rupert area schools:

Monday, April 20 -- Conrad School 10:30 to Noon at the Conrad Strongstart room
Tuesday, April 21 -- Pineridge School 10:30-Noon at the Pineridge Strongstart room
Tuesday, April 28 -- Roosevelt School 10:30- Noon at the Roosevelt School Hub Room

A session for the Port Edward School has yet to settle on a date.

An information session took place in Hartley Bay on Tuesday.

In all sessions, Lunch and resources can be provided.
