Recreation Centre seeking applicants for Lifesaver Apprentice Program

An opportunity to join the ranks of the Recreation Centre's Life Savers starts with the learning curve of the Life Saver Apprentice Program, which provides the required skills and background to provide for safety and rapid response if required at the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre.

The next program is set to launch in mid-September and those interested in taking the plunge have until September 15th to pick up their application for this fall's session.

A look at some of the lifeguard training programs offered by the City of Prince Rupert can be found from this year's Recreation Guide, the various course outlines can be found on page 32 of the guide.

To apply for the upcoming Apprentice program pick up and submit your application at the Recreation Complex, more background on what you may need to know can also be found by contacting the Rec Department at 250-624-6707
