Prince Rupert students receive NWCC scholarships to advance studies

A pair of Northwest Community College students in Prince Rupert have received scholarships of 5,000 dollars each to further their studies, as they move on with their post-secondary studies at educational institutions on Vancouver Island.

The two who have been attending the Prince Rupert campus, will be receiving the Ike Barber Transfer Scholarships, which will help them with costs associated to the next phase of their education.

The Prince Rupert campus recipients are Treena Decker who will be attending the University of Victoria and Melissa Rektor who will be transferring to Royal Roads University in Victoria.
