Rainmaker Road Trips take them to Terrace and Smithers today

The buses loaded up in the early hours of this morning and by now, there's a good chance that some of the teams from Charles Hays Secondary have already seen their first action, as Rainmaker squads in volleyball and soccer hit the road in a number of directions today.

The fall season of sports at CHSS is starting to wind down, with the anticipation of the winter program about to ramp up with Basketball set to capture the attention of the North Coast sports fans over the next few months.

However, before the hoops move into full swing, there's still a bit of work left to be done on the Volleyball courts and the soccer pitch for those wearing Rainmaker colours this weekend.

The Senior Boys Volleyball team is in Terrace with action at Caledonia Secondary.

The Junior Girls Volleyball squad is also in Terrace taking part in play at Skeena.

The Junior Boys Volleyball Zone tournament finals are in Smithers this year, with the Junior Boys Rainmakers taking on their regional rivals at the Bulkley Valley Christian School.

The Senior Girls have the weekend off, with their eyes now set on the zones finals taking place November 21st.

On the soccer pitch the Rainmakers Boys team is in Terrace for a showdown with Caledonia.

You can keep up to speed on how the teams are doing from the CHSS Sports twitter feed.
