North Coast Liberals to select candidate in late January

The election trail towards Victoria will start in late January for members of the North Coast Liberal Party as the local party members make their decision as to who will carry the Liberal flag in May's Provincial election.

The BC Liberal's website will get a North Coast update in late January,
when local Liberals select their candidate for the May election

With the North Coast one of the few remaining riding's for BC Liberals to put a candidate in place, local party officials have selected January 21st as the day for the Local nomination  meeting.

The current list of contenders stands at two to this point.  In early November, former Mayor and one time Liberal candidate Herb Pond put his name forward once again for consideration for the seat, while Rodney Proskiw also entered the race in November.

The North Coast Liberals have also settled on January 4th as the date for members to register in order to take part in the nomination process.

Updates on the campaign so far have been few and far between on the BC Liberal's North Coast Riding Association's Facebook page, you can review what notes there are here.

More background on the upcoming race on the North Coast can be found on our archive page here.
