Resolution Run first North Coast Running event for the New Year

Prince Rupert's Running community will mark the first day of 2017 with the annual Run, with the Rupert Runners hosting the 2017 Resolution Run.

The popular first race of the season follows the traditional course which starts and finishes at the Gates of the Canadian Fish Plant on Dry Dock Road, taking participants to the Rotary Waterfront Park and back for a fairly gentle start to the running season ahead.

The Run starts at 12 Noon on January 1st at the foot of Dry Dock Road and George Hills Way.

The 2017 Resolution Run takes runners from the Canadian Fish
Plant Gates to Rotary Waterfront Park and Back on January 1st.

The annual event is the preliminary event to the days festivities at Rushbrook Floats where the Annual Polar Bear Swim will take place in the afternoon.

The Resolution Run is the first of the year long running season, which also features the Crest Glory Days Run, Prince Rupert Half Marathon and 8K race, Skeena River Relay and Cannery Road Race.

You can find more information about the Resolution run and all of the other events from the Rupert Runners Website and from the Facebook page created for the Event.
