RCMP investigating animal deaths in Rushbrook waterfront area

The Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public after the discovery of several dead animals in the water near Rushbrook Floats.

Just before 3:30 on Saturday afternoon Police responded to a pair of calls from the public calling attention to what was believed to be several dead, skinned cats that had been found in the water near the east side floats.

Upon their arrival police recovered the animals and determined that they did not appear to be cats.
