Rupert's Repole keeps to quick scoring pace in KIJHL Playoffs

Prince Rupert's Judd Repole is continuing on with his impressive scoring pace as the Osoyoos Coyotes move through the KIJHL playoffs, with the Coyotes already advancing to the second round after dismissing the North Okanagan Knights in four straight games in play last week.

Repole takes on the challenges of playoff hockey after having had a stellar regular season, with a stats line that is highlighted by 60 points over the 46 game schedules, with 16 goals and 44 assists on the year, placing him second it team scoring, cracking the top ten with an eighth place finish is league scoring for the season.

The Coyotes headed into the playoffs as one of the KIJHL favourites, having claimed first place in their division and setting themselves up with home ice advantage for a good portion of the league playoffs which got underway February 24th.

Over the course of the four game sweep, the PRMHA grad claimed 2 goals and 2 assists to help propel the Coyotes into Round number two.

As February came to an end, the Coyotes hosted their annual Awards Presentation, and the impact that the forward from Prince Rupert has had on the Osoyoos season was noted with the awarding of the team's Unsung hero award to Repole.

2016-17 was a strong breakout year for the PRMHA alum, Repole doubled his points totals from the season before and has become a key element it the team's offensive play, with his play making ability helping to push the Coyotes to the top of their division and a second place finish overall just four points from the top at the season's end.




Having taken care of the Knights in four games, the Coyotes now face off against the Summerland steam with Game One of that Best of Seven series set for a puck drop tomorrow evening in Osoyoos.
