Tsimshian Environmental Stewardship Authority seeks creative minds for logo contest

The organization that has been tasked to address environmental issues on the North Coast is looking for a few good ideas when it comes to a logo, with the Tsimshian Environmental Stewardship Authority recently launching a logo design contest, one which offers an award of $2,500 for the final selection.

The organization which brings together the Tsimshian Nations of Metlakatla, Gitxaala, Kitsumkalum, Kitselas and Gitga'at is hosting the competition which takes place until March 31st.

Their motto is working together, which is the approach they take when it comes to common environmental problems along the North Coast.

For the logo competition the guidelines look as follows:

Any artist may submit original art that might be used, the logo should be neat, one that is easily reproduced digitally and should incorporate four key themes.

Nations/Clans working together
The Natural Environment
Protecting/Monitoring the environment
The term "Sayt Halels" (Working together)

You can learn more about the project and how to submit your logo design by contacting TESA at info@tshimshianenvironment.ca

The phone number for the Stewardship Authority is 250-624-8623
