Saturday brings out the golfers in aid of the Prince Rupert
Fire Department, with proceeds from the Best Ball Scramble
to go to the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund

The next big event for the Prince Rupert Golf Course takes place this Saturday as the Prince Rupert Firefighters host their annual Best Ball Golf Scramble.

A 10 AM Shotgun Start gets the day's golfing underway, as teams of 4 compete for bragging rights and a range of prizes donated by local merchants and organizations in aid of the popular event.

Cost to hit the links is 80 dollars per golfer and you can sign up for the event at the Prince Rupert Golf Course Pro Shop.

Once the day's eighteen holes are done, golfers can head to the dining room, where a dinner will be waiting for them as well as the chance to share stories of that hole in one that was oh so close, those that excelled on the course over the day will receive their awards at the night time celebration.

Proceeds from the Fire Fighters Scramble will be directed towards the British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund.

Updates on Saturday's event can be found on the Prince Rupert Fire Fighters Facebook page
