Terrace Mounties release details of July Drug bust on Highway 16 West

The Terrace detachment of the RCMP have provided some background into a joint regional operation in July, an enforcement project which brought together members of the Terrace Crime Reduction Team, North Pacific RCMP Traffic Services and DFO officers.

During the course of their efforts during the noon hour of July 19th, the group conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 16 West, along with the assistance of the RCMP Service Dog, attending officers seized 17 pounds of marijuana.

As a result of the traffic stop, a 56 year old man was arrested and released pending a court appearance.
