One of the last opportunities for some competitive golf comes up next weekend as the Prince Rupert Golf Club hosts its annual Stroke Play Tournament, marking one of the final events for the 2017 season.

The competition takes place Saturday and Sunday with the first tee off planned for 9AM, you can find out more about the event and confirm your participation in the tournament by contacting the Golf Course at 250-624-2000.

The return of more enjoyable weather for September has seen local golfers getting back out on the course after a horrid stretch of August weather,  more than a few Prince Rupert golfers took to the road this summer as well, testing their skills against some of the challenging courses of the Northwest and beyond.

Many on the North Coast are no doubt hopeful for a decent stretch of calmer weather into October as they try to get in as much time on the course before the November rains arrive and the potential for snow of the winter.

You can check out what the Prince Rupert Golf Course has to offer here.
