Small temblor recorded NW of Prince Rupert overnight

A small earth movement was recorded overnight NW of Prince Rupert
Close to the community of Craig, Alaska

It wasn't enough of a shaker to be noticed in the area, but small seismic shift took place just off shore of the Alaska panhandle today, some 290 kilometres to the Northwest of Prince Rupert.

A 3.9 temblor was noted just after 1AM this morning, recorded just west of Craig, Alaska listed a depth of of 6.4 km.

The event, one of a number of similar sized shifts that have taken place in recent months up and down the coast of Alaska and British Columbia did not deliver any damage to those living in the Craig area, nor did it generate any tsunami warnings.
