Travelling eastbound? Prepare for some winter the further you go

While the North Coast appears to have missed the brunt of the latest weather system to come ashore, with the wind warnings cancelled for the day, further east, the weather is clearly the topic of conversation once you head into the Burns Lake area.

Drive BC is reporting of a vehicle incident near Fraser Lake which has reduced the flow of traffic to one lane while emergency officials attend to the scene.

The first glimpse of Winter Driving Conditions comes just east of Burns Lake near the Augier Road area.
