Today's session offers a chance for students and others in the community to get an inside look at the range of careers that are available with a look at such areas as carpentry, electricians studies and heavy duty equipment mechanics, all of which are positions in high demand across the Northwest.

The program however is not limited to the heavy industrial trades, other opportunities that those attending can review include employment options in tourism, tech and health care.

As the Work BC caravan was making its way to Prince Rupert, North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice noted how it offers a range of information to assist in career choices and where paths of education may lead.

“Students and their parents are faced with a range of education and career choices,”  ... “Find Your Fit gives our students the hands-on experience and information they need to make informed decisions that will help them find their place in our strong, sustainable and innovative economy.”
