Rainmaker Volleyball hits the Court Saturday with matches home and away



The days for spikes and volleys are dwindling on the High School Sports calendar as November brings an end to the Volleyball season across the Northwest.

The Charles Hays Junior and Senior Girls Volleyball teams are in action this weekend with the Junior squad on the road to Terrace, while the Senior Girls host action as the Rainmakers Gym.

For the Junior Rainmakers the Caledonia Secondary gym is the host for weekend play.

 Charles Hays is on the court at 10 AM to take on Bulkley Valley Christian,

 Noon has the Rainmakers matched up with Skeena 

The 2 PM game brings Hazelton B to the court against the Prince Rupert squad.

A potential fourth game could be on the schedule for 4 PM depending on the outcomes of games through the day.

Results:

10 AM -- CHSS v Bulkley Christian   (25-19 , 26-27, 11 - 15)
Noon -- Skeena vs CHSS  (25-18, 19-25, 15-12)
2 PM -- CHSS vs Hazelton B   ( 25 -21 , 15-12

The Senior Girl have the home court advantage for Saturday play, with teams from Kitimat and Haida Gwaii in town for the day.

The first spike is hit at 10 AM when CHSS plays GTN Secondary (Dawson) from Massett

The Haida Gwaii squad takes on Kitimat's Mount Elizabeth at 11:30

The Rainmakers return to the court at 1 PM taking on Mount Elizabeth.

2:30 brings a return match for the Senior Girls as they take on the Haida Gwaii team once again.

Results:

10 AM -- CHSS vs GTN Haida Gwaii (25-14, 26-24, 25-16)
Noon -- CHSS vs MESS (25-4, 25-14, 25-16)
2 PM -- CHSS vs GTN Haida Gwaii (25-12, 25-19, 25-18)
