The exhibits have been uncrated and the final preparations are underway as the Museum of Northern British Columbia prepares to open the doors for a two month presentation from Quebec that takes a look at the history of The Clovis People, the Caribou hunters of Eastern Canada.
The exhibit opens on Saturday and will remain in Prince Rupert until March 31st.
With the arrival of the travelling exhibit, the Museum is offering a special family rate of 10 dollars for those interested in taking in the exhibit and its many interactive opportunities.
The exhibit which comes to Prince Rupert from the Sherbrooke Nature and Science Museum provides a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Clovis culture, a Paleolithic people from 12,000 years ago, it features a number of informative and educational items that will be of particular interest to children and families.
We first outlined the background to the exhibit in December, providing for a sneak preview for the arrival of the travelling exhibit.
