Rumours of Spring gets Prince Rupert Garden Club into planning mode

It's almost time for Spring planting and tending to the city's Sunken Gardens
The Prince Rupert Garden Club has an event this weekend to launch their season

With daytime high temperatures next week near the twelve degree mark, our thoughts of putting winter behind us may finally be starting to bear some fruit and with Spring comes planting season for the Prince Rupert Garden Club.

The organization is hosting an event this Saturday to touch base with current members and those that may wish to join on some themes of the spring, including some thoughts on bees and how those with gardens can play host for mason Bees.

Saturday's event will also serve as a Meet and Greet for past, present and future volunteers with thoughts of this years projects for the Sunken Gardens among the topics for the day

Saturday's session takes place from 2 to 4PM at the Sunken Gardens located behind the Prince Rupert Court House on Market Lane.

For more information on the meeting make use of the Sunken Gardens Facebook page message forum
